Park lockout

Is there an adjustment somewhere for this? I can't start or fully lock ignition without manually rotating lower part of the column a touch

There is an adjustment on the linkage from the transmission to the steering column. The rod slides in a collar captured by a 13mm bolt. Loosen the bolt and slide the rod up towards the steering column about 1/4" and then tighten the bolt. Check the ignition lock. You may have to adjust it further depending on how far it is out.

And after you get your steering collar calibrated to the transmission doublecheck your reverse lights and make sure the car can start in neutral.

If those are off, you'll need to rotate the white PRN switch a click or two.



Also, since you're off, look over your transmission shift cable and make sure ti's not about to break.
