I tried searching the forum but couldn't find an answer.
I had my car painted and putting it back together. While I had it in pieces, I was able to lube up the three cables to the right mirror and now it operates as smooth as silk, what a difference. The problem I am having is that the lever is up and to the left as far as it can go but the mirror is still looking down a bit. Where the mirror is positioned, I would expect that the lever would be around the center of the ball. Is there any way to adjust for this? I tried twisting the control, effectively wrapping the cables one way or the other, that didn't help. I am at a loss now wondering what can be done? Anything?
