Passenger side valve cover breather question.

I never really noticed this. Just got back from a drive. Saw some oil on my firewall. Saw some oil on the passenger side valve cover breather. Don't know how it is supose to be set up. The hose is not connected to anything. What is it to be connected to?

Factory setup was connected to the turbo inlet. Been some conversation that it is better to leave this in place rather then to replace with a open air breather.
