ok im in need of some help. i dont have any vac. line on top of my throttle body because its been welded closed and smoothed shut. what can i do with the pcv valve? I guess my options are to not run one and put a breather of some sort in that hole or????

here is a picture of my throttle body.

If you're running VC breathers you should be just fine without a PCV. I just left the pcv in mine with a small hose on the end and stuck an old header bolt in there for the time being, but really you dont even need to cap it off, but I would leave it in there regardless, maybe check here and there if you think it might leak, but it shouldn't. well since its a hotair car i only have one breather and its on the driver side. should i order up some valve covers with dual breathers?

Im sure some may have a different opinion than I, but I think that one should be enough assuming it's not a tiny little thing. I base that off of the entire crankcase as being one large chamber, each VC is technically still part of that same chamber.

breather

here is a pcture of the one im running.

I think you'll be fine. I'm not sure where your PCV goes as mine is an 87 and is under the plenum riser, in that case you could just leave the PCV stuck in there with nothing connected to it so that way it can still breath a bit from there if needed. Either way you're good.

Brent- Why are you using a throttle body without the vacuum block? I am running a ported throttle body with all necessary vacuum lines and vacuum block hooked up. I have a stock throttle body I can sell you as well as send you the vacuum line setup. Gbody parts sells the gaskets for our throttlebody. Good luck. Brad

im running it for the clean look. to many damn line up there. im still not sure what im going to do. i mean the PCV really doesnt suck that much air out of the crank case at least i dont think so.
