Will be taking some parts off for replacement & figured it will be a good time to replace the PCV valve and grommet since it would be easier to get at. Did searches and found several suggestions at all different costs, all of which got at least a few negative reviews. What PVC valve and grommet should I get for a stock GN that will never (he says now) see over 15 lbs of boost? Thanks

Is this the hole at the front of the pass side valve cover? If so pretty much every one puts a little k&n filter in there and calls it a day.

Thanks. I’ll have a shop vac going when I remove the old grommet. Parts stores list a Dorman grommet as being correct, but lots of reviews say it doesn’t fit. Ideas? Also is it any easier to put the grommet on the valve first before trying to cram it in the valve cover?

Thanks Brad.
TexasT - nope. Think you’ve described the breather that goes on the front of the PS valve cover.

If you’re looking for the correct PCV gromet that is installed in the intake manifold, then both Highway Stars & Richard Clark offer the proper one. Dennis Kirban used to supply these (which were from Richard Clark). I assume Kirban Performance still offer these, but you’re on your own there now .

I have a never used factory AC Delco CV893C PCV and Kirban grommet. DM if interested.
