In trying to avoid the hassle of the dump/cat swap for emissions testing, I wanted to find out about registering my GN as a classic. If it can be registered as classic, do the techs at the stations then not even look under the car and not care that there's not a cat? I wouldn't think it would be right to fail you for something having to do with emissions when you only have a safety inspection taking place.
Also, I saw that PA appears to have an emissions testing exemption when you drive the car for less than 5000 miles after you own it for a year. Do any of you take advantage of this policy? I suppose I would need it emissions tested the first time though, so they could document my milage.
