I did the same thing with my '67 GTO back in 1995. I sold it for a song to get some quick cash for a down payment on my house. As it turned out, I really didn't need to. You can't get near a decent '67 for a reasonable amount of $$ anymore. So much for "having another one someday". I'm keeping my GN. Plus, I hate to be that guy that walks up to people at the car show and says "I used to have one just like that".
I'm pretty sure my GTO was at the local cruise-in last week - I knew that thing like the back of my hand. There aren't too many "Montego Cream" '67 GTOs around, nevermind in this part of the country. The guy said he's only had it 2 years.
But I digress.....if you ever plan on "having another one someday", just keep the one you've got.
