I received my Big Mouth Cold Air Lite (aluminum) Kit along with a new MAF and 9" K&N from Turbo Regal Custom Parts (Mark Hueffman).

It looks awesome with incredibly detailed instructions.

Due to the incredibly stupid 10 minute time limit for editing  I had to add a 'reply' to say that Mark's quality and his service are EXCELLENT!

Check his products out here: Turbo Regal Custom Parts

I can't wait to install the kit!

I must agree. I had the pleasure of meeting Mark in person to pick up the same parts on Saturday and I could not have asked for a better vendor experience.

Great looking parts, awesome instuctions, and a hell of a good guy. Talked about Buicks and the Buick community in general for an hour.

Sadly, I have no GN to install the parts on right now.

I have the big mouth intake with LS1 MAF. It is so much nicer than the Postons intake I had on it before.

Awesome kit. Love it. One of the best things I have done that looks good and pays back with performance:

Mark's big-mouth cold air kits ARE worth the money guys...this kit rocks...I had it on my car...sold it over the winter because I lost a job and money was tight...plan to buy the kit back soon...the sound you hear when you get on the throttle just leaves a smile on your face:D

Well, I got a new GN and FINALLY installed my kit. After some trouble with the translator plus, all is well and it is hooked up.

It's just plain awesome. The pipes look awesome, and the turbo scream is so audible that it's ridiculous. I love driving this thing around.

Thanks again, Mark! :D

Now the question is, should I sell my old setup? The new GN came with a mandrel bent tube with the stocker MAF. I'm thinking about selling it, or keeping it in case the LS1 MAF gives out on the road. Any thoughts?

Yeah - I bought mine about two weeks ago and installed it - looks awesome. Great quality and service. Thanks Mark.

I have the Big Mouth and MAF pipe on my GN, and I love it. Sounds like it's trying to suck the asphalt off the road, even if you're not into boost yet.

Scares the hell out of people. :D

Love the sound... like the whistle of death coming from the reapers own leathery lips at midnight while standing at the gates of Hell.

I bought the 3" MAF pipe, up pipe and the Big Mouth, chrome.....love this stuff and the the horse noise it makes when you get out of the throttle with boost on.......:D
Never had any rain problems, I just dont drive into LARGE puddles...........Mark sent very high quality stuff and great install directions......I also got it a week before he had said I would which of course made me even HAPPIER!!!!!

Hmmm, can I use that in the description of the kit on my website??:D

As far as driving in the rain, I tell people that the only time they would have problems with water is if they submerge the filter. If you are in water deep enough to do that you are going to have more problems to worry about besides your filter.

I drove from a car show in PA a few years ago back to CT in a torrential down pour the whole way. The filter got a little damp but no ill effects other than that. Car didn't miss a beat the whole way back. I swear there was a black cloud following me the whole way home.

I was referring to downpours. When there is some standing water on roads. Worried about the splash from the tires shooting water on the filter. We seem to get alot of downpours in MI.
