I installed a new PL on a 86 GN and installed the new chip 2.2 in the SM also . I updated the PL to newest update,4.3 , also installed a new PLX WB also on the install . This car has a 5.7 TT chip in it .

The SM reads all the data and PL reads all data but the Park and neutral does not show up checked when in park or neutral , plus I can not set the chip tuning for WOT and timing in any cell block and with SM or PL it only show 2 and 4 cell but when you go to blm it will not adjust to any selected value . Where did I go wrong or what it may be . The TPS is set to specs also .

Before I did this I could adjust the chip with the SM with the 2.1 chip in it through the factory dialog terminal

I have install 3 PL systems already and never had a problem with them so its not my first rodeo , this one has got me baffled
 
the park/neutral issue would have to be wiring or ECM, as the status of that input is no different than any other data the PL reads.

as far as adjusting things in that chip, I defer to Eric M.

what is the MAF range set to in the F3 page?

Update , took PL back out and cleaned terminals real good again and its back up and flying and no weird stuff going on , cross my fingers . I see all data on both ends and can adjust chip with pedal and PL . so I am good to go . park and neutral check works on pl now also Bob .

This little schooling helped me fix my Blue Car with the SD2 in it , it was acting up idling and had funny CF pattern and come to find out it was loosing communication with the PL , the PL had slipped some out of the ECM , easy fix pull it down and clean terminals and seat the PL back up , she is back idling and CF is right on the money now . This hard knocks school is the BEST education you can get . LOL!!!!!!!!!!
