A little birdie told me to check out PLX on Facebook, or look at their website late tomorrow afternoon for a sale on their DM-6 SM-AFR Combo. Current price is $199.99 Looks like we may just have a decent WB option available soon for under $200.

Oh, it's on! Just ordered mine from their website.

Sale price is 179.99 until Fri. 3/22/13. Includes free ground shipping ($12) and free o2 bung ($10).

Also since the DM-6 is a multi-guage, I believe you can use it in conjunction with an existing 3 bar MAP to display boost as well. The included module also interfaces with Powerlogger for logging A/F.

Another little tidbit, you don't have to add the O2 bung to run WB if you don't want to either. You can replace your existing narrowband O2 sensor with the new WB O2 sensor and monitor/log WB while simultaneously provding a narrowband signal (generated by the include module) back to the ECM.

I got their email. They can't spell "droid" apparently.....

I would not run the wideband sensor in the stock location, the heat and pressure are not good for the sensor.

You can't display other things on the DM6 without additional "sensor modules".

I run the PLX myself, it works pretty well.

What Bob said!! You absolutely should NOT run the wideband in the stock O2's location for a couple reasons.
1. The pre turbo heat and pressure will kill the wideband in short order!!
2. You want to keep the stock O2 in there for the ECM to use during idle and cruise situations.

FYI, this sale is still going. I just ordered it too!!! Good find. Savings of about 50 bucks versus buying off jegs or summit.

Cool. Glad someone else took advantage of this, too because I looked around & this seemed to be the best deal out there. Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow!

I'm going to install the new 02 sensor in the DP & retain the stock 02 sensor.

Also, TurboBob is right regarding the need for additional sensor modules with the DM6 guage.

I may add a boost module ($99) & use the DM6 for both boost and A/F. This way I can replace my existing boost guage (currently in a single A pillar pod) with the DM6, without taking up any additional space. I'm not really interested in watching the AFR displayed at all times, just need the WB signal for logging & tuning.

The DM6 doesn't update really fast, you might want to keep the boost gauge.

TurboBob,
When you say the DM6 doesn't update really fast, what kind of re-fresh rates are we talking about?
Thanks.

I think its 10 updates per second, which is decent for the digital reading. but is too slow for the LEDs to work like a gauge.

I like the PLX stuff, but for a boost gauge I personally prefer a regular gauge.

I think the specs are in their literature.

Yeah, you're right. Just found this:
http://www.plxdevices.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5461

Updates 10x/sec.

So it sounds like the digital readout will be fine, regardless of the LED feature/function. I really had not even considered the LED's sweeping around like a gauge, since there are no assigned values. With any luck at all, they'll just sweep around & stay lit up for about 12 seconds!;)
