That will only be known by the driver and the 2 passengers.

But hard to believe someone driving the speed limit going into a posted 40 mph curve and losing control would cause that much damage to the car,the report didn't mention anything about the weather conditions being a factor. A person buying the most powerful performance car sold in the USA and taking it to a back road in less than an hour of having it? Dodge didn't build the car to putt around in.

The wreck may be the best thing that could have happened to him and might have saved his and others lives.

Glad they're ok. Did you guys ready the comments? Someone posted
"What’s the purpose of manufacturing a car with this much horsepower anyway? Where on earth are John Q Public going to drive a car like this on public roads? This much horsepower in the hands of a non-professional driver is a fatal accident ready to happen and probably to an innocent person."

There is a 26+ page discussion about this on the Challenger forum…Some people think that all of the braking gizmos and ESP system should have kept the rear end from fishtailing around the curve..it's simple law of physics that most non-racers can't seem to understand. They keep wanting to blame everything but the driver, even one post suggesting that Dodge be sued because the car was able to slide off the road…. Even one guy looked up the driver and called him trying to find out what happened!
What's interesting, here's a link that someone posted that shows the driver, 17 years ago when he was a ski patroller.
