These things are certainly crude compared to any new car. I'd probably be appalled by driving mine if I were used to riding in new cars all the time. I'd say a really tight/low mileage car with virtually no mods wouldn't be too bad, but I've never been in a car like that.

It doesn't help that the third-gen f body was such a flimsy car from the factory that it was laughable. I'd love to see how much tighter my car would feel if it had been a hard top. A hard top TTA is as rare as hen's teeth though.

Even compared to a GN/ T-Type/Turbo T these things are rattle traps!

I'd say being a body on frame helped isolate a lot of the motor vibration from the passenger compartment on a g-body. When you really think about it, a v-6 is naturally going to have some vibration harmonics just because of the inherent design of the crankshaft. I'd say those harmonics become more apparent the further away from the crankshaft you get (like in the transmission mount)
 
Well the rubber trans mount didn't really help with vibration. At least not in neutral. Haven't driven it yet. Guess I'm just going to have to deal with it...
