Hey guys,

I have an issue when looking at my datalogs: As i scroll acroos the datalog the vertical line jumps large sections, as if i am datalogging with a low resolution (ie 5 frames/second)

I am running Windows 7 and i have set the frame resolution at 20 frames/second.

Is there anythin else i have overlooked? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

My computer is fairly new so i do not believe that is acusing the problems.

Could it be the serial to usb connector driver or something?

Thanks guys,

I tried to post this on CPG network, but i just signed up and it will not let me just yet.

Adrian

How many parameters are you logging at once? Over 24 would cause this.

OK what was the possible cause?

Norbs,
I don't have the solution. I mentioned to Adrian that I have run into this several times with cars with a lot of RF noise. In fact, I have even seen it shut down the dyno computer. I think the speed of the comm port in the laptop may have something to do with it too. For a temporary solution, I suggested logging at a slower speed which seems to help. Or as a last resort, using the internal logger.
