i just bought an gn today it runs good its fast but when i really put my foot in it the boost gauge goes all the way to the end and the car starts surging and popping the car has 75,000 miles on it i think it has never had a tune up it has the original coil pack on it too and wires please help

This will get you started in the right direction especially if the car appears to have been neglected.

Keep your foot out of it until you get a scan tool and boost guage! The popping can be caused by a lean condition, bad plug wires, coil pack, over boost or a combination of all 4! This can damage your engine in short order!

The stock fuel pumps were barely adaquate when the cars were new. Your first modification should be a Walbro 340 pump and hotwire kit available through Racetronix (check vendor area) adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure guage. Also, change your fuel filter IMMEDIATELY!

This should keep you busy for a while! Get caught up on maintenance then we can play some more;)
