Flow

Agree 200%

I also realize it is not just about flow, and there is MUCH more involved.
All I was trying to say is that stock heads are rated around 160 (If I recall correctly), so I would expect much better numbers than 175 on the intake on just about any ported head.

All I can say is that on the flow sheet recieved with my heads the numbers were very similar to Esingers and they flowed good enough to propel Lee Thompsons car to bottom 11's high 10's although I thought the numbers were quite low too till I did some research on head flow variances. So Jerryl if those numbers are accurate man you should be runnin!!!!!! after you put those on.

............ On the flowing of the heads, I’d be more than happy to flow your heads on the same bench that I did mine. I can’t promise that my heads and yours don’t get mixed up

Let me think about sending the heads for comparison. :D
When I was flowing SBC heads about 20 years ago, I know we were flowing them stock around upper 100's @ 28" H2O (forgot the excact numbers ..... 180 - 190s????). With porting we were in the 230's or so.
So I use that for a VERY distant "comparison".

No question about Lee's work and heads, and you have the numbers to back it up.

All I know is that my heads kick *** "sitting on the bench" .... LOL
I should have bought the GN1R's. .........
Not really, but they would sure be pretty with plenty of potential.

For what it is worth my ported heads were professionlly done by a guy who specializes in big block drag racing engines. My flow numbers are 182 intake and 138 exhaust. Brad
