I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to deal with Jim and Gabe on the purchase of these cars. Both were gentlemen along the way, very easy to work with, and had the cars ready when Gary Almond came to pick them up. Communication along the way was outstanding with both, prices were negotiated very fairly, and both gentlemen even went out of their way to have little details cleaned up, spare parts included, etc......

If these two gentlemen are typical and representative of what the Turbo Buick community is all about, consider me happy to be here. I will, of course, update on Sunday when the vehicles arrive, but Gary is the ONLY one I use to transport my cars and he had nothing but great things to say about both cars and both guys. Thanks to Jim for taking the pictures and the vidoes. :D

Here are two of my three GN's being loaded up for delivery. The third is not here yet either.

VegasSe, as you know Gary is well respected in the Viper community for his ability to deliver cars without any problems and hassles. Congrats on the purchase of these excellent cars, hopefully the GN, TTYPE circle get more people like you comming on board.

Hey! Yes, Todd is correct. I can see that Gary took extremely care of these GNs just like he owns the cars. I already told Gary that I will call him to transport my car in the future after I have seen him handling the cars. Also, not just that, but he was a great communicator and kept me in the loop of his status for ETAs. Call him up if you need to transport your GN!!

Todd, it was my pleasure doing the transaction with you!! We have been emailing forth and back a lot in the last two weeks. It seems that Todd is a fun person to hang around!! I would suggest that Todd should attend GS Nationals and meet these cool GN owners!! Probably next year when your two GNs are all ready to be shown!! Maybe when you are done with my GN and I might buy it back from you!! :-)

There is plenty of gas left in the tank in my (former) GN, so drive it away in Las Vegas as soon as it arrives at your place! Enjoy these GNs on Sunday!!

It was a pleasure to deal with you Todd. Gary will be my first choice if I ever need transport for a vehicle. I never thought I would see the day I would sell the GN but I couldn't be happier that it went to a true car luver who will take care of it.

Yes, Gary used to actually be a Heffner Twin Turbo Viper owner. Thank you also for the kind words. This community is so helpful, even the grizzled vets. :D

Just let me know when you are in town. As for events, I'm totally out of the loop there. I guess I need to explore a little more. ;)

Gabe, I honestly feel a sense of obligation to you on this car. Considering what you are going through and the love and car in this car, being the original owner, I really want you to be able to see the car when it's done and be able to proudly say that it was your's. I know how much this car means to you, and I won't disappoint. :)

Both cars showed up pretty much in the condition I expected. I knew the 1987 was going to need paint and had a little checking, but the interior is perfect and the engine bay is CLEAN CLEAN. The records and info for this car are as meticulous as I've ever seen. Overall, just a couple tiny dings taken out and some paint, and this will be a 9/10 car.

The 1986 was pretty much as I expected in terms of interior and exterior. The interior is a little more worn than the 87 but the car obviously has reasonably fresh paint which is not perfect, but it pretty darn nice. The engine on the other hand, which was pretty freshly redone is very dusty and needs to be cleaned, which was a surprise, and the turbo has bad seals and is spewing a bit of oil. I didn't anticipate having to replace the turbo immediately but all in all, it's not that big of a deal. I just need to have the engine cleaned up quite a bit and the turbo redone along with a few other things I was going to do anyway. For what I paid for the car, and the overall condition of it, I'm satisfied.
