I bought these about 2yrs ago and never installed them, now I go and put them on the Ttype yesterday.
Seems like I have a problem with the Pass. side, bolts onto the head OK but after bolting on the turbo the inlet side seems to be “cocked” a little up and back towards the TB.
The inlet bell is basically touching the wires of the IAC and when I put the MAF hose on the inlet bell the IAC wires are pushing in on the hose(see pic)
Unfortunately I had put everything back together (crossover,DP, turbo oil connections, ect) before I put the inlet bell back on and noticed the alignment. It also looks like it is high and is going to interfere with the uppipe.
The drivers side and crossover seem to fit fine its just the how the turbo is aligned when bolted to the header flange, and this is a stock turbo not some big inlet turbo.
I guess I can buy a IAC relocator so I get the clearance I need and buy a powerplate to get a little more height for the up pipe clearance. Would it be bad to oblong the holes on the header flange so I could “twist” adjust the turbo away from the IAC
Since I bought these so long ago I’m not sure Postons will take these back and since I’ve ported them and welded a bead on the outside tubes also, but they have never been used yet.
Anybody have any other ideas or something I may be doing wrong?

poston headers

I bet if call and tell them, they will make them up. if you got the proof you bought the headers from them. They made a set up for me. I had problems the flanges where soft.

Same Here!

I had the same issue with mine. The stock inlet bell and stock MAF to turbo hose fit (Barely) but when I went to a hard MAF pipe and thick silicon couplers, it looked like yours does now. Hitting the IAC Connector. AND, just like you, the headers were fitted and all tighened down before I noticed the weired angle the turbo flange had.

My solution? Order an IAC "Angle Boss" from www.bopengineering.com. I didn't want to fight with Postons AND take the set back off! It fits fine now and I adjusted the turbo center section to re-align the intake compressor.

I did not have much trouble with the down pipe. I had enough slack in the Exhaust system and clamp at the CAT to fit. I did need a new DP Gasket...
