i was going to get some of the tb.com :tongue: thongs for my lady. at the checkout it said 11.00 to send one pair of panties and to allow 4-6 weeks delivery time . well, that idea is thrashed for valentines day, anyone got any other good ideas?

I did the same thing a while back. I about choked when I saw the price. SOMEONE is making some $ on that stuff. there is a difference between mark up & rip off.

i know it is to support the board, and i know what shipping cost. but come on you can get 5 pair of victoria secrets thongs for 25.00. i don't mind the 12.00 for the panties, but 11.00 shipping, wow. my mall used to have build-a-bear, but i think they are gone now.

the bears are a great idea. but i'm about about to get a nice t.v. for her(us) the same weekend also, so i wanted to stay ~20.00. she only wears thongs, so those are the best idea; i'll get her a pair for her birthday i guess. i'll figure something out at the last minute.

not a good idea to buy a vday gift from an infomercial. Women watch tv too.
some even joke about it at my local bars about it and how weak of a vday gift it would be.

do something unique to make your lady feel special, not buy something which is already burnt out nation wide. Try dying some white roses with food coloring and hand writing a card, hell its easy just add food coloring to some roses n wait a day or two. Copy a cards words from a store if you can't think about what to say, and wa la! Highly dought your lady will find the card you picked to copy, but all ladies know about this teddy bear idea though, its definitely burnt in my honest opinion. Thats the cheap way out, if you really wanna turn it up get her measurements and stop by victoria secret, thats always a solid gift idea.
