I believe my power brake booster is DOA. When applying the brake, the brake light on the instrument panel illuminates and the pedal is hard at first. Then the brake pedal feels normal until the brake is applied again. Please advise this G.N. rookie what is wrong and where can I get a new/rebuilt power brake booster motor. thanks..........

accumulator ball. You can get a rebuilt unit from autozone for around 250.00. I had to order one the last time i needed one. not in stock.

New Brake Accumulator Bowls!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did anyone read the big news from Dennis Kirban's Inner Circle Newsletter?

MORE GOOD NEWS

You are hearing it here first and I think Pete who
works for me will pass the info on to various Buick
websites early next week. Or, if you get on the
various forms you can put the word out. My source that
has been rebuilding the Powermaster brake units for
us, has informed me testing on the new brake
accumulator bowls is completed and they expect to have
inventory late November. Normally, they are in the
products business not the parts business. In other
words until I came into the picture their game plan
was to simply do it so they could continue to offer
rebuilt units. They have a tremendous back log of
companies throughout the US waiting for rebuilt
Powermasters. I have been told I will be able to buy
just the brake bowls from them.

At this point in time I know they will be black but I
do not know whether they will be the original design
with the nut inward or the later design with the nut
on the outside of the bowl. Frankly, whichever design
they go with will not have any real affect on sales
since most people are more concerned about having
their car stop when they hit the brakes and not seeing
the little red lite come on!

As for prices I can tell you this the retail from us
will be under $135. Also, as an inner circle member we
will have a special introductory price for a short
period of time. This company is very happy with the
amount of sales they have done with us since we are
the very first mail order company they have ever
really sold to. Most of their clients are retail
places and distributors. I have pushed them almost
weekly to get this project completed.

I am reasonably certain this bowl will come with a
limited warranty like the Powermasters do. I wanted to
put this word out now since we are very close to
having them and save someone from paying $350 and up
for original ones. I told them I would be able to sell
quite a number of them almost immediately. So stay
tuned.
