Power for a FAST System

Hey guys,

Is there a simple way to provide power to a FAST ECU unit so that I can read the tables off there. Reason I ask is because I'm still putting my car together and I don't have all the wiring harnesses connected currently.

I was told that I should connect the pink and red wires to the positive side of the battery and the 2 black wires to the negative side.

Does this make sense???
