I am installing my new Power Logger and noticed the instructions are for a GN...ECU is mounted different in the TTA vs. GN. Is there any clearance issues on the TTA with the wires being up top vs. down on the GN? Anything else I need to know for this install would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

No, actually the F-body's ECM location lends itself very well to the powerlogger install. Plenty of room and it actually seems a more logical fit for the PL to be up above the ECM.

I put the I/O board and all wiring on the underside of the hush-panel and the black USB wire comes out next to the radio pod area and I coil it up in the map pocket when not in use.

cool...wasn't sure how much room was up top. I may install a USB panel mount "feed-thru" in the hush-panel to keep all the cables behind it.

Looking forward to getting it all hooked up...have a dyno session scheduled for this Sunday at Anderson's during a MAGNA meet.

Thanks,
Scott

Scott, could you take some install pics? I'm wanting to do this too.
thanks

The TTA powerlogger is a MUCH better setup. I was the first one to install one on a TTA and was sweating bullets that it would not fit. It fits right up there.

I bought a long USB cord and have it fished through the carpet under the seat. That way I can tuck it away and get it out rather quickly. My TTA looks bonestock except for gauges, MAF Pipe, DP, and exhaust. No reason to have wires running all over the place!

rat, there aren't really any pictures available. It can only fit one way.

do I need to hook up the analog board to get it running or is it just for add-on sensors (wideband, EGT, ect.)? I plan to hook the Scanmaster to it and eventually a Wideband O2 but wasn't sure if it was required.

It is just for add on sensors, but go ahead and do it now. Hook up the boost now as well. The wire is there already from the alky system.

But to answer your question, no, it is not REQUIRED.

Yeah...I tapped off the green wire and extended the Scanmaster white wire over to the analog connector. Also installed the new 2.2 chip in the Scanmaster as well. Played hell getting the drivers set up and connected to my laptop but just got it going and it seems to be working now. New features on Scanmaster working as well...wow it definitely updates faster that's for sure. Now I need to get me a Wideband O2 and hook that up.

You'll like the new PL setup Scott. Works great. I got the PLX wideband for my car. Works well and tied it into the PL. A/FR is displayed on the SM. Simple to install. Got mine online from extremepsi. Good price too.

Dont think I'll be making it to Anderson's today.:(
