I just ordered an RJC powerplate. I was thinking that I currently have a spacer on there now. So I figured I'd get the PP. The plate came in today, and the piece that's currently on the car does not look to be much if any thicker than the RJC one. I hate to take it apart to look because I'll need the 2 new gaskets in the pack to go back with. I have the car put up under the cover, I'm going to try to get by today and look at it. I just figured I'd run a thread, to see if there is an easy way to tell if its an RJC plate or not. Was some ever made about the same thickness as the RJC? I know they made some big ones back in the day. The rjc is about 1/8 in. thick, and I know this one is no where near a 1/4. It would be easiest to take it off and look but I'd rather just sell this one still packaged up if I son't need one. Thanks guys!

For the cost of the gaskets you'll know for sure. ;)

Sounds like you already have a power plate. I know of no spacers that were only 1/8" thick.

I looked at it a little while ago. It is about twice as thick as the RJC, maybe 1/4 inch or so. I guess its not one because it does not have the aluminum finish. Thanks for the replies guys.

The power plate is not a spacer, it distributes the air more evenly to the rear cylinders that go lean under boost..

Take your throttle body off and shine a light down the doghouse and see for sure.

If it's for a champion GN1 stock ported i'll be first in line to take it off your hands pending sale price and. Pics. I know you said its NIB.
