I am trying to convert the seat from a manual track to a power track and have a bunch of questions; I'll bold all of them.
First off, here is the track that I am trying to use, should it work? I believe it was pulled from a g-body or maybe a Cadillac or something with one of those big puffy non-bench driver's seats:
Secondly, this is what I'm left with for a wiring harness:
From my understanding, the orange wire w/black stripe just goes from the plug all the way into that box underneath the dash (also pictured). And the all black wire is a ground that goes underneath the door sill. Right?
Should I put a fuse in the orange wire? I think I read a post from someone recommending that. If so, how do I know what rating fuse to use?
As for the black wire where exactly does it ground; what bolt/screw does it go under? I want to make this look as stock as possible. Also, where can you buy replacement wire for the orange wire with the black stripe?
