Powerglide

At what e.t. would a Powerglide be better than a TH400? Also what kinda first gear do you think the glide would need in it and what kind of gear in the rear? I don't care about street driving so I don't want to hear any opinions on a TH400. Thanks.

If a car was set up in TSM configuration would a glide out e.t. a th400?

Glides are supposed to be faster if the car weighs less than 3k.Hard to get a street Buick to that weight.
