Powerlogger USB port looks melted

I gust checked my power logger connections were the usb square end pushes into the ECU and it looks like something melted out, both on front and back side. It is like dried rubber - silicone. power logger works fine i was wondering about it may be time to replace, ill attach pictures thanks.

There's a smear of silicone there from the factory

Ok thanks , i don't remember it being there when i installed it but it was awhile ago, I was hopping i didn't have to buy another one thanks again
