Here we go again, powermaster is acting up.Thinking about the conversion again. What are the pros and cons about converting to vacuum?I was told today to stick with the powermaster, because of holding boost on the line.

I tried the vacuum setup & they developed vacuum leaks. Leaks caused the O2 sensor to cause the computer to add fuel & my last unit caused a 2000 rpm idle.

PM is original & overall cost me less than the vacuum unit. PM last I heard was $149 ar Advance auto parts.

The best unit, I'm told is the hydroboost which came on '84 & '85 GNs.

They aren't $150 anymore. They wised up. They run about $350 now.
