Precision FMIC installation issue

Sounds like a total PITA.

You might consider an RJC FMIC. Slips right into place without any cutting or modifications. Uses factory bolt holes to hang it. Requires two small holes to be drilled for the lower mounts. Installation time is less than an afternoon if you are anything like me & move slow. The hardest part is removing the original SLIC.

Good luck.

Then, how about you "straightening all of us dummy's out??
There are obviously 2 different PTE designs. Mine was the first design.

Actually your information and anothers was useful.
I was searching for info myself.

I have the old design that I purchased used. Trying to decide if I want to drill holes or go a different route.
One post says to drill the other says not to drill.

It seems the new design pushes the ic out a couple of inches and changes the angle when mounted. Did they pipe design change also?

One post says the crossmember can stay the other says they go?

I have a trans cooler and want to avoid moving it.
Thanks.

Fit perfect. Great intercooler.

No pic of the top. I can get you one Sunday. We installed the pipes first to see where the intercooler needed to be, then lifted it in place and marked it. Not sure if it would go any further forward without piping hitting the fans
