Precision PT51c...some specs please

i have been "lent" a brand new precsion turbo # pt51c to try on my car...i can't find any info on this turbo in the precision catalog or website...I would like some specs on this turbo-est. h.p. level (my combo is in my sig. its a work in progress), boost range,etc. any info is appreciated, anybody else's experience with this turbo good or bad, right now i'm just using the stock turbo w/ about 15-16 psi, so what should i expect to see out of this turbo, assuming i get the rest of my car lined out. TIA

It is a good turbo. My motor has never been open it is all stock other than the LT1 valve springs. It has MSD 50lb, razor alky kit, stock big neck intercooler, 3idp, hooker exhaust, and jimmies trans with a 3000 stall. The car on BFG street slicks at a 3 lb launch it went 11.52 at 116mph 93 octain. The car is also full weight 3600 with me in it.

I am running a PT51 on mine but my engine knocks a lot and pulls timing, so I am not going to have any good times with that turbo...I can tell you it pulls substantially harder than the stock turbo (you can really tell from about 15psi and up).

I have a PT-51 as well. I know of a boardmember who has ran 11.10 in the 1/4 mile with the PT-51. I have only run the 1/8th so far with a 7.31 at 97mph.

Supposed to be capable of 585hp. I really like how it pulls at 25psi :biggrin: , but don't have much to compare it to.

I WILL BE THERE!!! i've gone for the last 4 years, but this was the first year with my car there, & i actually finished it in the pits @ midnight the night before!!
this year i think i may even bring a ford to race also, to help the buicks get a couple of points, if you catch my drift
