I am looking to buy a used Precision Turbo TA62 turbocharger. Is this to big for my setup? I have a stock motor with a 208 cam, front mount intercooler, and a ornge stip converter, exhust, TH DP.

Also the turbo needs a rebuild. Were do I send it? How much will it cost?
Thanks

Honestly, it's not too big for your combo, but you will need a converter that can flash stall to 3400-3500 due to the turbo having a P-trim turbine wheel.
You need to give Precision Turbo a call on the rebuild, you need to speak to Jim who is in charge of repairs. They will have to have your turbo in house before they can quote you a true repair cost. The 62mm turbo received a bad rap awhile ago and because of it, was taken off the list of Buick turbos.

Here's a thought, why not send it in and see how much it would cost to upgrade it to a T63E? Same torque converter requirements and you have the fuel system for it and when it's all said and done, it might cost you the same as the repair, plus you get a more power turbo out of the deal.
Talk to Jim in repairs, he will hook you up.
Hope this helps.

If memory serves me correct, the TA-62 was rated to support around 645 fwhp. A TA-49 can support 545 fwhp maxed out, so there's a good 100 fwhp between the two.
