I was reading the CK Performance 2004R tech manual and on page 104 it says to remove the 3rd gear pressure switch and put a plug in its palce. What will this do for performance and what happens with the wire that goes on the pressure switch?

He's saying remove both 3rd and 4th switchs for testing the switchs and cleaning the VB. Nothing about removing switch and putting a plug in it's place. I believe all chips use the 3rd switch signal for fueling.
