Greetz gents,

I'm about to pressure test my 200-4R. I'm not too comfortable bring up the torquey V8 to 1000 rpm and shifting through the gears at no TV and full TV.

Can I leave the drive shaft off, or is that a no-no ?

Does the tranny need to warm up first?

And one last one. I have a 2200 stall converter - do I need a tranny cooler on that right away ?

many thanks,

D.

Do the test with the driveshaft ON. Holding the foot brake or e-brake, bring the RPM's up to 1000 with the trans warm and then shift through the gears taking note of the pressures. Do the same with the TV pulled out.

A cooler is a very good idea no matter what!!
