price of turbo repair...........

For the price that I paid to have my turbo repaired ( shaft play ) and upgraded from a 63 to a 66 just 1 year ago, I bought 2 small Borg Warners for $50 more. I plan to use them on a mild stage 2 twin set up. I saw them advertised on a group buy on another site. I love my precision turbo on my other car, but I didnt love the price. I have only heard great stories about the BW turbos, I may be converted forever.:biggrin:

Which Borg Warners are they?? We do alot of CNC engineering work for BW's so can probably tell you what they are. Also don't get to sucked in by the Borg Wanrer bandwagon. Alot of it is hype on some of the units. Only a few of them actually may out perform their GT counter parts. Right now marketing hype from a few companies out there are really pulling the wool over peoples eyes.

Turbo Rebuilder

Try The G-POP Shop. I had my TA-49 rebuilt for $425 shipped back to me in a week. They do a great job and have many different levels of rebuilds.
