price on posi rear end?

I guy I know in my local car club has a stock 87 posi from his 87t for sale. He said he wants about 300$ CDN for it. He just bought an eaton posi so he does not need the stock one anymore.

Does that sound like a fair price? Any ideas?

BTW, the car it came from has about 100 000 KM on it (70miles)

This place was selling eaton posi's last month for $299. I looked and I'm not sure if the deal is gone but I couldn't find it on the website again.

I bought one in January from a guy here in Canada for $400 CDN. It had been rebuilt and the clutches were new.

If its in decent shape and the spider gears / Ring + Pinion gears are in good shape then i'd say its not a bad deal.
