problem after soldering in new lights on Delco CD Radio

Any one ever done this before??? I need some help! I went ahead an solder in all new lights on to the circuit board of my Delco cd radio but apparently after putting everything back together no lights would powered up. Any thoughts?

measure the voltage across the circuit board....maybe its 6 volts,i cant remember(12v light wont work).or maybe theres a "driver" for the lights?its been a long time since i worked on the illumination on an older delco....
