I am trying to move some websites in my favorites folder around so that the ones that I use the most often are on the the top of the file list when I open the folder. I click on the specific favorite site and try and drag it to where I want it and nothing happens. I have done this in the past, but I can't now. What can I do?

Thanks

This is an easy fix. Go to the top favorites menu on ur AOL task bar (should be inthe middle). Click it and then select favorite places. It should bring up your favorite places window to the left sde of ur screen. Then just select the one you want to move, left click, hold the left click button, then drag it to the place in which u want it placed. GOOD LUCK!

I think that might depend on what you are using for a program.
That doesn't seem to work on my work computer, which is windows '98, or my home computer, which is Windows XP.
Anyone else on here have any ideas.

XP

I have XP, and I just tried to clik and drag.. works here..;) I left cliked, held the button, and dragged it to where I wanted to put it. As I did this, I got a black stripe in between the other descriptions.. That indicated that if I let go when that particular stripe came up, that's where the drop would be made.

I just figured it out.

I have Windows XP, Internet explorer V6.

Go to view - explorer bar - favorites

When the favorites menu appears on the left hand side of your screen, just drag and drop like you would normally do. When you're done just close out of there and everything should be the way you want it.

I guess I just answered my own question, but I'm glad there was another that was wondering the same thing.
