I thought I had these in the trunk of my car but I guess they were taken to storage, so all I have right now is old pictures of when they were actually installed.

Professionally painted, DARK tint, these are black, not a mild tint.

The paint job was $95 and judging by the insane prices that tail lights go for in the first place (check ebay), I'm asking $165+ship+paypal. This is for the lenses only, you can install them to your own tail light housing. If you want the entire assembly, fine, but you will have to cover the extra shipping because the box will be considerably bigger to fit the entire housings. Trim is not included either way, this was an extra set of lights I purchased and they had chrome trim anyway.

this is a good deal. i tint lights on the side- and would only do them for this price if i really needed money.

i know you say they are dark, but i'd still like to see how much light shines thru.

Thanks for backing me up on the price. I figured people were going to say I was out of my mind, but again, between what it cost to even purchase a spare set of tail lights, and then get them painted, not cheap.

This is the best picture I can find right now with the lights turned on. I believe this is just the tail lights because I don't see the 3rd brake light reflecting on the trunk lid. Obviously it does affect overall light output, but it is still decent, enough that it would still pass as Legal in Chicago where you can tint as long as the light is visible from 500 feet.

I almost want to keep them because I know I will miss them but I need money right now, got a couple things to purchase for the car to get it ready and other than that I'm just short on cash in general. Someone take them before I decide to keep them.

PMs answered.

I will probably go get them out of storage today for better pictures.

Updated pix. Not the easiest things in the world to photograph. Some pix are with flash turned on, some are just daylight.

Pending sale with 1/4mileracing, he posted here first and also PMed me before anyone else. Will update if he buys or not.

Rick if I had known I would have asked if you still repair headers.

Looks like they are sold. So I will jack this thread.
How do they tint the tail lights?

Is it a spray ? Just curious.

vht sells a tint paint, but the results aren't good. i use my own custom mixxed paint (it's more than just paint) for the effect i get. looks black, let's lots of light thru, i clear them so they can be buffed for a mirror image. i don't do them often, it's very time consuming and difficult. i think it's easier to spay metalic and pearl than to tint lights (IMO).

10 years ago, i did a mustang by just fogging it. but the light didn't get thru good and it was uneven and splochy. my sister is a chemist, she is actually the person that made the formula i tint with.

i did a few sets 2 months ago, and don't plan on doing any more for another 2 months. i can do them real good, but it's a major PITA.
