IMHO a P-trim 70BB will spool better and make more power at less boost than the 67GTQ.

From talking to some turbo guys, I think the main reason anyone goes with a GTQ wheel on a 67 vs a P-trim 70 is if they are racing in a specific class that limits the compressor wheel to 66 or 67mm.

70BB by far, make sure its a 4" inlet with a 3" discharge so that you will get the most out of it.

My buddy has a GTQ71. He made a few trips to the track and couldn't get in the 10's even though he had deep 10 second mph at the end of the track.
He ran my P-trim dual ball bearing 66 and made nice easy 10.6 second passes at about 23 psi with like 3 to 4 psi launch. Infact his first pass he coasted the last couple hundred feet and still went a tenth fater than he did with the GTQ.
He put his GTQ71 back on and out did the 66BB but he had to push it harder right off the line.
Jack Cotton always told me he loved T66 ball bearing turbos. A T66 has an awesome compressor map for the horse power and boost levels that most built GN motors run in. Make it a BB version and the car is going to feel like its a super charged car on the street. Jack's right the damn thing is an awesome all around turbo.

BTW: when I first bolted the 66BB on my car I did a stage light boost building type test in my drive way. Before I knew what happened I was smoking the tires standing on the brakes. I wasn't even supposed to be up to 3psi yet!

Give Jack a call
