It will effect the e.t. but not the slip % at a given mph. Your 330' would be most effected by the early shift. I cant shift 1000rpm less anyway. It shifts automatically at 5900 at 29psi.

Shifting at 6200 instead of 7000 I lose about 2 tenths and 1 mph in the 1/4.

You will be very happy with the 9.5 . With the 70 it the only way to go .
