Did a search but could not find info on the adjustment procedure for the PTS Billet Servo.

Found a post where HOTTOGO said it is the easiest thing to do just a snap ring away but the ASTG has an involved procedure for the stock unit and there appears to be a few washers that may be used to set the depth of the pin.

Thanks,

Please - A Little Help

Hummmm  It would be nice to have some written instructions that I can refer to since I am not sure when I am going to get around to this project.

"and there appears to be a few washers that may be used to set the depth of the pin." - for the PTS Servo that is.

This is my 2 cents worth, take all seals off of it noting which way that they come off, remove return spring. Install servo pin and cover into the trans with snap ring. You want to push on the cover and have about .040-.050 clearance between snap ring and cover, add or remove washers as necessary to obtain clearance, then reinstall seals return spring etc. thats it. I have a PTS billet servo as well thats just collecting dust as I found that my stock GN servo shifted better (firmer).

The cover actually moves in the case?

So I can zero a dial indicator on the cover, then push on it, and add or remove the washers until I get .040 to .050 - right?

Yes, although a dial indicator is a little extreme. I'll find some object that is about .040-.050 in diameter that will fit between the cover and snap ring. This clearance isn't extremely critical, main thing is that it isn't too tight with no clearance at all.
