How much power can a Killer comp. pts xtreme trans hold? The 200r4. plus the race weight of my car is 2500* so i know that will give me a little. any info would be great thanks

TALK TO BRUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call Bruce (WE4) Toelle, hes the owner of PTS Xtreme. Why come here and ask the question, when you can talk to Bruce himself? You cant go wrong with PTS!

That trans has ALL the billet parts you need. I couldnt see why it cant hold up to a lot of power.

I have the killer street, with 9/11. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Russ Merritt did my trans with Bruces parts and converter .. this is a LOW 10 street/race car .. hasn't missed a beat  Bruces parts are NICE and fit to :p

I am guessing here but at that weight I think 800-900hp would be getting real close.....

Thanks guys i will be calling bruce this week. And i will be in contact with russ as well. i just want some input on costermers before i call them. Cause its for my turbo LSX in my 88 Starion and on low boost should be in the 700rwhp range to start.

i agree with that light weight of a car you can probley put some good power threw it. best thing would be to call bruce and see what he thinks.

PTS NO question!!!!

PTS is the only shop you should even consider, IMO. The product is top notch. I have one of Bruce's Street/strip, w/billet pump and all internals and his 9/11. Now I bought this unit off of another member. Well when i put it in the pressure was way off. So i call Bruce expecting to be shrugged off. After all I did not give him one red cent for this transmission. Not only did he stay on the phone with me for 7 days trying to fix it. He went through my pump, replace the pressure regulator, checked all clearances and decked the unit. He had 4 hours of labor into it and parts. Well over a $500.00 repair! Do you know what he charged me?>>>> $120.00 and 35.00 of the was SHIPPING!

Look, Bruce just wants his product to work, plain and simple! You just can not beat a company willing to make sure their product is the best possible.

Since the repair, I have been melting drag radials, with nice firm shifts. Will it hold up to your car? Well mine is a low 10 second car. The drive-train is built to the sky! That transmission is more than enough!

Impressive! The few hundred dollars he ate just bought him 2 more customers. Thats why vendors like PTS will out live most all others. It's called customer care! Customer care goes much deeper then the customer at hand. Honest stories like this bring in thousands of dollars from future customers.

A few other vendors should remember this story for the next time they try to get over on someone. I will leave certain specific vendors names out.

In my experience a full weight GN, in the mid tens or faster, will need the 200r4 freshened up every season or so. Third gear would start flaring.

I just noticed your weight, it might last for a long time for you.
