what do you do when the puck doesnt seal?i'm running a pte 49 with the stock down pipe.

Is the problem due to misalignment between the hole and puck or is it due to surface corrosion?

I had the same problem, it turned out i had the wrong housing, sent for another DP. hole was 3/4 inch off.

Are u the original owner of the turbo, and did you tell PTE that you were using the stock DP? If not, be alarmed...

i'm the 2nd owner, the turbo didnt have a housing when i got it.the guy i got it from had a housing but it was a stock one ported out??

What diameter is the W/Gate hole and how much of it is uncovered?I'll agree with the THDP observation,as from what I saw,Terry moves the W/Gate puck about 1/16" closer to the centerline of the exhaust wheel. You could try RamChargers for an oversized exhaust puck[cheap] and install it in the exhaust elbow. If the misalignment isn't too bad, that should cover it.

i pulled my housing off again and i can see clearly now that the hole is not being covered all the way,the puck is bigger than the hole but the hole seems to be in a little.
