When I bought this car back last October, I was not sure what type of pump I had, neither did the previous two owners.

Plus there was not a hot wire kit on my car (I added one later) so I thought for sure it had the stock fuel pump in it and was the possible cause of some of the KR problems I had.

Well folks this is what I found....

Looks like it says "Holley by Walbro".

Hhhmm....and yet everyone I have talked to has said this HAS to have the hot wire kit....I wonder how it ever worked right w/o it?

NOW, I also noticed my pick up assembly still has what I believe is the pulsator on it....

Now, I have some questions to ask...

1. With the pic of the pump I have shown, can you tell me anything on it? Is it a 255 lph pump?

2. What does the pulsator do? Should I leave it on? or remove it?

3. If I do remove it, would it be worth anything?

Thanks!

Try sending the pics to Mike at Full Throttle and see what he thinks. Sorry I can't be of any help.

Just toss the pulsator in the trash and use a short piece of high pressure hose. Also cut off the neck down portion of the tube before you install that hose.

I believe it just dampens the pulsations from the pump to make it quieter, or something like that...not 100% sure though.

Ah I see.....

I guess the fuel pump must be pretty noisy when in operation?

Wonder if it's worth anything?
