I am piecing together a DIY kit and locally I can buy a 2.2 GPM 200 PSI pump cheaper than the normal ShurFlow pump. Does anyone know if there is a reason to go with the smaller pump?

Thanks

As long as it says not for use with flammable liquids you should be fine. ;)

As long as the pump is compatible with the alky. you are using it should work fine.

Shurflo is pretty cheap tho.

It is a Shurflo, it is just a higher PSI pump made by them and for some reason locally it is a lot cheaper than the 2687 everyone is using.

I wasn’t sure if the PSI was too high for alcohol. I would buy the 2687 but if I get it from a local supplier and there is a problem I can exchange it were I got it.

Thanks for the reply’s

anyway you could email me the part #. I just ordered one last night but would like to look into this one too. How much was it?

I have all the info at work, not with me, but I will send the specs to you tomarrow. If you are buying over the internet I am sure it is cheaper for you to do it that way. The dealer here wanted $148.00 for the 2687.

for my next install I'll buy one of those. For this one, the 100psi with dual nozzles will be plenty!
