Just finished installing my new alky system from Razor. All the test check out fine, but the LED won't come on with boost. Have every thing hooked up but the low alky lite, either did'nt get it or miss placed it. Doe's it get it's signal from the MAP?

I believe it does...Needs to see the boost level before it turns on..the Green wire off the MAP sensor harness ??? Been a while

I will know in the morning, think I fixed it. Bad connection at the MAP.

Make triple sure the electrical connection to the MAP sensor is 110%. As make sure the plastic line and rubber hose ends that connect the plastic line to the MAP and vacuum port on the back of the passenger side are 110%. If there is an issue with the MAP sensor, there is no alky kit.

If your plug is ratty, has issues, not sure.. contact me and I can send you a new one.

Lastly, Zip tie all hoses and associated connections to the MAP sensor. As other hoses like the one going to the fuel pressure regulator. That one pop's off at 30 PSI.. your gonna be in trouble.

HTH..

Wanted to add... to test the 3 Bar sensor, measure voltage at the green center wire IGN on car not running. It should read approx 1.6 Volts DC. If you blow(pressurize) the plastic port on it, that voltage will increase.

If its not anywhere near 1.6... then there are other issue's needing attention.

all better

It was the MAP connection. Runs great. 25 lbs so far, and 0 knock with the FAST.

Post back what target AFR gets you the best MPH on the FAST.

At BG I was targeting 11.4 and it picked up 27. On a 11.0 target it only did 23-24.

Info like this is invaluable :)
