I just purchased razor's alkycontrol kit. I realize I'll need a new chip cut, and I'm working on that right now. I'm new to this alcohol thing and I'm not sure if I'll need new injectors. I've got 36#'ers on there right now. I hope to turn the boost up to 22-25. I don't want to purchase new injectors unless it's necessary, so please don't just say 'get 60 motron's'. If I need them I'll get them....If I don't I won't. Thanks...

it all depends on how fast you want to run..... there are a "million" factors...

but remember Alky is also a fuel so, you kinda ARE adding another injector as well as cooling the intake charge... I wouldnt say turn it up all the way and let er rip... but it is possible to run higher boost w/o upgrading your 36#ers... how much boost...every car is different

You must weigh on the efficiency of your turbo/heads,timing, chip tune, ambient air, i/c efficiency, and probably other factors i am forgetting.... but there is one thing i guarantee.... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! and once you go alky you never look back.....

Okay, well that's news. Maybe I've got a lot to learn. I'll have to proceed cautiously!!

YES! Read this disaster of a post, and the last entry....cam sensor....who'da thunk?
you should be ok alky cuts your duty cycle 25% i would not get another chip for alky the only difference is the base timing is 23/21 not 20/18 and the alky chip is leaner. i run this chip and noticed no difference i just bump my timing to 27/24 and run 25 psi. if you have erics street chip i would set timing to 23/21 and tune from there. i got 42's and i had to take 10% out of first gear and 5% out of all gears so with 36's you should be ok :)

Got some 009's and TT alky chip sitting on my shelf if you are interested.

You need to monitor injector duty cycle to see where your at. This can be done with a direct scan or power logger. If your running the injectors at 100%.. then you need bigger injectors.

I dont think based on what you have you'll need bigger. Probably until the car is probably running low 11's or upper 10's.
