Hello,

When I purchased my car, the person before me had a boost controller and blew out the stock turbo. I need a new turbo. The car has had some modifications done to it. I am not sure of it all. I do know it has a reversed shift pattern TH-400 with about a 3000-3200 Torque Converter. I would like to purchase a turbo that can withstand 11 flat. What would you recommend? I will be purchasing this very soon. I can do any of the recommended supporting mods that need to be done. I would like to have a turbo that spools up fast and is street-able. Any advice? Thanks.

There is a lot more to running 11.00's than just a turbo. What is the rest of your combo? What injectors does the car have? Do you have a larger fuel pump with hotwire kit? Is the bottom end of the block built up? Do you have a after market down pipe? Just about any 61 trim turbo will take you there with supporting mods but you will have to lean on the car.

Check out fullthrottlespeed. They have a 61MM P trim BB turbo that is one step above a 6152 and is Ball Bearing!!

you can call most of our vendors and they will set you up with what you need.

6776 DBB.

But listen to Dreamcar86, you need all the supporting mods to run those times. Read on these boards what people have done to their cars and you will get an idea of what you need to get. The first thing I would recommend is a money tree. :D

Well money is not really a problem here. I'm a v8 guy, so I know the basics of the V6 and little about turbos. I have been researching a little bit. Thanks for the comments, ill look into the turbos you have listed and possibly call one of the vendors to get more information.
