This really puts into perspective just how much of a beating the turbo Buicks put on the modern muscle of the time. Wish I were old enough to have seen this in person, but this video is the next best thing. Seems Lawrence Conley had a really fast GN in the low 13s.

I had the pleasure of having an early 86 GN in March of 86 . I ordered it in November of 85 not knowing how fast they were really going to be . I read that they had just about the same HP & torque as the Corvette but were lighter , so I figured it should be quicker . I had a lot of fun that summer with all the nonbelievers of Turbo V6 power !!
