well im trying to determine the length of pushrods i need]
i have a set of CC 8.200...
im using stock type rockers and a heavy duty type shaft
comp roller cam
i soaked the lifters in oil for a few days then installed them
then using a adjustable pushrod for measuring
i turned the motor over till the base of the cam was on the lifter.
and adjusted the pushrod till it had no up and down movement, and didnt seem to be opening the lifter up.
took out pushrod and measured..
did this to all valves.
heres the problem
drivers side 1 exh 8.138 pass 4 exh 8.132
1 in 8.151 4 in 8.142
2 exh 8.147 5 in 8.145
2 in 8.155 5 exh 8.140
3 in 8.148 6 in 8.132
3 exh 8.155 6 exh 8.132
now if i add 30 thou to these numbers thats the pushrod length i need correct?
how do i get these numbers closer to each other? i really dont want to buy all different sized pushrods.
file down the valve stems?
roller rockers?
thanks
