Hello all. I know that not many of these dashes exist. But I am in the final stages of putting the dash cluster back together and wondered if anyone knew about calibrating this dash. For each section there is two potentiometers. On my diagram, the paper shows that one is for high and one is for low. For example, on the boost gauge, one is for 0psi and the other is for 30psi. Fuel gauge is for 0 gallons and then I believe 18gallons. How would I set these??? Would I empty the tank, then set the zero potentiometer to zero, and then fill it up to say 5 gallons, and then set the other potentiometer till it reads 5 gallons? Thanks for any help on here guys!

One of mt friends has his Cyberdyne dash installed and working properly. I'll try to get his installation sheet and xerox it for you. I'm looking for a similar dash myself. Please send mailing address to lovellgl@aol.com. Gary L.

Thanks for the reply. However, I have the instructions etc. But the instructions do not indicate how to adjust these. I believe cyberdyne recommends they not be touched, but mine are just a bit off.

Scott!
I pretty much had to do just that with mine...All were off a bit...fuel was only thing that was on target...changed it with half a tank, and read half a tank with the cyber..my buddy started from scratch as well...did just what you mentioned...empty tank, added like 10 gallons...low was on zero high was set for 18 ??? and adjusted up till he got 10...I just had to do that with my oil pressure gauge...drop me a line if ya need some more help..you certainly hooked me up when i needed it !!

if you look at each of the adjustment pots theres a red marking on the sides , thats the factory setting when they lined up

now you have two pots for each gauge , the one to left is the rough adjust (makes big changes and the one to left is the fine adjust )

i just got mine back after 2 1/2 months over at cybernyne and they replaced one transistor and were supposed to calibrate all the gauges , most of mine i had gotten to be accurate and would match the SM even my boost was dead on and my gallons was nearly exact by slightly adjusting the pots but the tach was off and when adjusted to read close at 1800 it would show 300 at key on and be off about 75-100 at 1000

havent tried hooking it back up to see how they did but its lifetime warranteed so it could always go back to them for more tweaking :)

Scott, I talked with my friend with the Cyberdyne dash. He said you were correct in how he calibrated his dash. If you want to talk with him (248) 8148143 about 8 pm ,or work (586) 8257606. Gary L.
