Question about tranny that has sat

I had my tranny rebuilt by Vince Janis back last April and it has just sat on the garage floor since with no fluid in it. Is it ok still? Should I put fluid in it? Reason I have been reluctant to put fluid in it is because the bolt hole is stripped where it holds down the TV cable housing and it was leaking fluid there before the rebuild and I haven't gotton around to fixing that hole yet.

It's fine. Just keep the rain water and dust and dirt and metal chips and welding splatter and bondo and primer and paint dust and bugs and rat sxxt and cat food out of it.

OK that is good to hear. I didn't think it would be a problem. I'm gonna get to fixin that hole soon so I can get fluid in it and then once my motor is done, I'll be able to install it.
